I was born in Riga, Latvia, and live and work between Riga and Hamburg, Germany. A photographer since 2005, I explore atmospheric, street, documentary, and personal photography, capturing fleeting moments and the quiet intersections between the visible and the unseen.
My creative process prioritizes emotional resonance over technical precision. While I use everything from disposable cameras to digital models, I have a particular affinity for analog techniques, which bring texture and authenticity to my images. Blending documentary rigor with poetic sensitivity, I aim to create work that feels both grounded and dreamlike, inviting viewers to engage with both the tangible and the intangible.
My photography is not about documenting the obvious but about revealing what lingers beneath—a shadow that hints at a story, a pause that carries weight, or a fleeting expression that speaks volumes. I seek to uncover the quiet poetry in everyday moments, weaving subtle narratives that resonate with emotions and atmospheres. Each image is an exploration of life’s in-between spaces, an invitation to experience the extraordinary within the ordinary.
